A bit of a grey Sunday so … Be bold. Be bright.  This chunky knit from Superdry will lift your mood and keep you cosy even if you aren’t sipping gluwein on a mountain top.  Its perfect to pair with jeans or skinny trousers and has room enough to disguise that post Christmas bulge!xx

Miss. Moneypenny

After all the repeats of James Bond movies over the holidays, trying on this pencil skirt and animal print top in the sale from Mint Velvet made me feel very Miss. Moneypenny!  Lets just hope that when James returns from his latest mission he needs to pop into the office for a bit of dictation ……I’m sure he’ll appreciate the more mature lady and her fabulous fashion sense for the 50 somethings! xx

Colonel Mustard In The Changing Room

Boxing day and its time to start walking off your Christmas excesses…. here is the perfect chunky knit from Whistles – its in the sale now so even if you only walk around the shops you are burning calories and saving money!  Add a cosy teal colour scarf – the precise opposite of the pink in skin so it brings out our natural glow – and you have solved what to wear today.  See you next time xx

Feel The Teal

Dank drizzly day … time to cheer things up. The colour teal is everywhere in the shops at the moment so surely must be the new black..! -and it gives a real boost to older complexions. This soft sweater dress from Whistles drapes in all the right places  and by adding a long necklace gives it even more shape. Would look great over jeans or thick woolly tights and teamed with a gilet really is a go-anywhere outfit…xx
